We have been learning about equivalent fractions. We made fractions from shapes, photographed it and inserted it into our document. I learnt that 1/2 = 2/4, and 1/3 = 2/6.
It was fun making equivalent fractions with shapes.

Kia Ora Ane. You are learning some cool stuff in maths. I learnt the ⅓ = 2/6 - this is an equivalent fraction too. In my class we are learning about fractions too. Today we learnt about mixed fractions. Do you like working with fractions?

Hi Ane...

You are doing very well in your maths learning and I like your picture of the shape that you created.
Did you know that 2/4 can be equal to 4/8.
You just have to multiply the denominator by 2 and do the same thing with the numerator.

I hope you had fun working with fractions...
